Vowerole

Google integration

What Vowerole asks your Google account for

Vowerole is jewellery ERP software for Indian jewellers. If you publish a website through it, you can connect your own Google account so traffic and search figures appear next to your sales. This page says exactly which permissions that needs and what each one buys.

The permissions

Two, and what each is for

These are the scopes the consent screen will show you. Nothing else is requested.

Google Analytics

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.edit

What it grants: Create and configure Analytics properties in the account, and read their figures.

Why Vowerole needs it: A jeweller publishing their shop’s website usually has no Analytics property yet. Vowerole creates one for them, adds a single data stream named “Website”, and puts the measurement ID into their storefront so traffic is recorded from the first visitor. Google publishes no narrower permission for creating a property — there is no create-but-not-delete — so this is the smallest scope that can do it.

Google Search Console

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly

What it grants: Read-only access to Search Console performance data.

Why Vowerole needs it: So the queries people used to find the shop, and how those pages rank, appear beside the shop’s own sales figures instead of in a separate tab. Nothing is written back: this permission cannot change a Search Console property.

How the data is handled

What we do with it, and what we never do

It is read to show you your own figures, and for nothing else

Analytics and Search Console data is fetched to render it in the dashboard of the account that connected it. It is not used to build a profile, not combined across businesses, and not used to train any model.

It is never sold or shared

No Google user data is sold, rented, or passed to a third party. There is no advertising business here to pass it to.

Connecting is optional, and the product works without it

Every part of Vowerole — billing, inventory, purchase, manufacturing, accounting — runs with no Google account connected. The connection adds traffic and search reporting to a shop’s website, and nothing else depends on it.

Disconnecting deletes the credential

Disconnect from the website settings inside Vowerole and the stored refresh token is deleted. Access can also be withdrawn at any time from the Google account’s own permissions page, which revokes it immediately and without asking us.

Only the connecting account’s own properties are reachable

Vowerole can see the Analytics and Search Console properties the signed-in Google account already has access to. It cannot reach anything that account cannot.

Limited Use

Vowerole’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The privacy page covers how the rest of a shop’s data is handled. Anything this page does not answer goes to tech@vowerole.com.
